'Where did you find that again?' I am often asked by acquaintances and relatives when I tell them / show them where I was on vacation.
I guess I inherited that 'holiday plan' gene. My mother was passionate about preparing our vacations and my brother Richie also caught the travel bug (he reports on his trip around the world on his blog 'meataroundtheworld.com').
While my mom still had to resort to travel guides and travel agency brochures, today the entire worldwide web is available to me. But that doesn't always make it easier. Nowadays the art lies in not being overwhelmed by the amount of information, but in finding the best and most suitable quickly and separating the wheat from the chaff. This filtering and comparing puts many off - I love it!
That's why I decided to document my successful vacation plans and share them with the world.

My second great passion is my family, who accompanies me on all these trips and vacations: Stefan, at whose side I have been happy for 22 years and our two boys (born 2010 and 2014) .
